Dr. Maryna Lakhno is the Programme Coordinator at the ETH Swiss School of Public Governance (SSPG), where she manages the school's continuing education portfolio and oversees its communication. In this role, she guides the school's continuing education programmes from conception through to implementation, evaluation, and further development. Maryna also contributes to the design of the curriculum and programme activities. In addition to these responsibilities, she is actively involved in research projects within the school, contributing to its academic output.
Prior to this, Maryna pursued her doctorate in Public Policy under the Yehuda Elkana Doctoral Fellowship at Central European University in Vienna, focusing on integrating the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals within higher education. Recognized for her contributions, she was awarded the Swiss Government Excellence Scholarship for Foreign Scholars in 2022/23. She has also contributed to the academic freedom research, co-authoring a comprehensive report for the Global Observatory on Academic Freedom. Her experience extends to teaching roles at Central European University and Princeton University, winning the Best Teaching Assistant Award in 2021.
