Maryna Lakhno joins the SSPG as the new Programme Coordinator
Maryna Lakhno joined the SSPG on 10 July 2023 as the new Programme Coordinator. In this role, Maryna will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the SSPG's continuing education programmes.
Maryna joined the SSPG as Programme Coordinator, where she will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the SSPG's continuing education programmes. In this capacity, she oversees the school's continuing education initiatives from conceptualisation to execution, evaluation, and further development. Maryna also contributes to the design of curriculum and programme activities while managing the study administration, student and lecturer guidance, along with other administrative aspects of the programmes. Moreover, her role extends to managing the communication and marketing efforts of the SSPG, while also participating in various other projects within the school.
Prior to this, Maryna pursued her doctorate in Public Policy under the Yehuda Elkana Doctoral Fellowship, focusing on integrating the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals within higher education. Recognized for her contributions, she was awarded the Swiss Government Excellence Scholarship for Foreign Scholars in 2022/23. She has also contributed to the academic freedom research, co-authoring a comprehensive report for the Global Observatory on Academic Freedom. Her experience extends to teaching roles at Central European University and Princeton University, winning the Best Teaching Assistant Award in 2021.
